• I'm Alan, from Turin: of course I had to become an A.I. guy.
• I fell in love with AI in high school, and after twenty-two years I'm still 100% into it.
• I do fundamental research on explainable AI (XAI) and mechanistic interpretability.
• I apply it to industrial safety for ML/LLMs, leading the Model Explainability and Alignment group at Intesa Sanpaolo AI Research.
• I teach machine learning as Adjunct Professor at the University of Turin.
